TV2 is Kent State University’s award winning campus TV station. TV2 has become a real asset not only for students who attend the university, but for the community as a whole. TV2 serves as Portage County Ohio’s only local TV station for students and residents, and is broadcasted on channel 16 or 2.2 on Kent State’s campus. The important and effective journalism students bring to the community has not gone unnoticed; for TV2 is a three time winner of the CMA’s station of the year award. While attending Kent State University, Leisel had the privilege to serve as Assistant Operations Manager and General Manager of TV2.
